Week 4

What did you do this past week? This week we learned about the characteristics of l-values and r-values, the return types of post and pre-increment, the characteristics of references and pointers, and the characteristics of arrays. The career fair was also this week, along with numerous information sessions. What’s in your way? Week 3

What did you do this past week? This past week was used to complete the Collatz conjecture project, of which the majority of time was spent on the workflow and process. I am getting used to GitLab and it has some nice features, but I still prefer GitHub for now, probably because of its leaner UI and seemingly faster execution. What’s in your way? I feel like alot of projects and tasks are beginning to accumulate so that could potentially be a problem when combined with recruiting. [Read More]

Week 2

What did you do this past week? I spent this first full week back doing the required readings for my classes, preparing for my Instructor role in the Codepath iOS class, and working on coding practice problems. I also updated my job search profiles and have been preparing for the upcoming recruiting season. What’s in your way? Nothing is in my way. I have alot of work to do, and have become used to the routine of spending most of my time studying. [Read More]

Week 1

What did you do this past week? This past week I have been getting my laptop ready for running Hadoop locally, working through coding problems on leetcode, and getting ready for the Codepath.org iOS class I will be leading this semester.
